Frinika 0.5.0 is still being tested - but several builds have been made - and if you don’t want to wait anymore - you can download it from here.

Personally I find it more stable and better than 0.4.0 for my own usage.

Gervill is part of the latest pre release of Frinika 0.5.0.

Frinika is constantly being developed, and even though there might be some time between each release, you can now get to try out the latest features on a more regular basis. We’ll make an effort to create a new release as often as possible when something new is introduced, so that you can test it, and give comments, before it becomes part of a final release. For these “test releases” we will not check platform compatiblity and do the testing we normally do for an official release - we’ll simply take a snapshot of the current code repository status and release it - regardless if there are errors or not. We hope this will increase participation from the Frinika user community - we, the developer, use these latest versions when we use Frinika, thus we always try to keep them sane - now you will get the chance to experience bleeding edge functionality from Frinika as well.

Modify:

/etc/security/limits.conf:

And make your user member of the audio group.

You will then experience very stable sound and be able to use low latencies!
